This bar is awesome, Gary is an awesome bartender. He creates the atmosphere here. If your a weekend drinker or lucky to catch this guy during the week, you will not have a bad time. I like this spot. It's a good place to chill after a day
They have remodeled this bar since I was last in it. Great place to get a drink listen to DJ music on the weekend. And the staff is top notch. Great place to go as a group, alone or with a date
The food is, well, bar food. It hits the spot when you need it to.<br>The selection of beers is good, as it includes a few craft beers along with the popular lagers - Bud, Miller, Coors.<br>The service is super and helps to create that well balanced atmosphere. There's fun and music and enough space for personal conversations.<br>The whiskey selection is great. It's not like a bar in Bardstown, Kentucky, with row after row of bourbon. But for a bar in Nampa, ID, it is plenty.<br>Overall, I recommend this place to land for an evening.
Brooke and Dan took care of me during lunch and boy Howdy were their bone in chicken wings fantastic. Usually places will skimp out on the base chicken and put a nice sauce on top of it or vice versa but they did neither. The chicken wings were delicious big and the sauce was fantastic. Dan cooked them to perfection and Brooke took care of me like a king. Not a local but now I’m sad that I’m not. Great job guys.
Great place, fun hangout. They have live music when I was there playing best of the 90s music. Food is good, staff is very friendly. Definitely want to hit this place up again sometime. Price will vary depending on whether or not you're an alcoholic, hahaha!
The food tastes good, they make good drinks and the atmosphere isn't crazy. It's a good feel bar. The bartender was super awesome and friendly.
They finally have uber eats set up and I’m so excited about it! I love the food there, never disappoints. Now I can have it sent to my home. If you do go in, they have more options and it’s literally the best ! Anytime I recommend a friend they text me soon after saying how amazing the food is. The steak and Swiss grilled cheese is one of my favorites. The Nachos- I’m not a nacho fan but I’ll eat it there! Undeniably delicious. Try out their uber eats and enjoy at home too. Best burgers you’ll ever have and it’s hard to find a good burger these days. Even the wings, always coated perfectly and big. You won’t be disappointed.
We went for lunch while working in town. This was our first time here. The bartenders are very welcoming and pay attention to everyone’s needs no matter how many people are there. During lunchtime they were surprisingly fast, whilst the food was fresh and piping hot! The French fries were unforgettable, simple but seasoned and cooked to perfection. I will definitely remember them and crave them in the future! My boyfriends burger was huge, the picture doesn’t do it justice! Haha, sorry, I tried.. but, I was also dealing with a throbbing tooth ache at the time. They have pool tables, full bar, seating for dining, and multiple dart machines. We were able to get in and out in less then an hour and back to work on-time. The location is ideal for people who want to explore different shops nearby and has a downtown feel. Had so much fun at Whiskey River Oct 12th!<br>We were with a large group of friends to see Buckshot Crazy Band! They rocked the house! Did not have food personally but my friends did, chicken wings and nacho platter, they reported yum!<br>Loved how the venue was decorated for Halloween! The servers and bartenders were fantastic, nice, professional, and also having fun. It is a non smoking bar and I love that! I am a double lung transplant recipient! And love that I could have fun out and not worry. One note and I know this is a hard ask but if the smokers could be a bit further than the front door, the smoke was drifting in. All in all this is a very welcoming place and I will be back. ❤️

Whiskey River is great. People, service, environment and best dart boards in the area. Donna is our favorite she makes our experience top notch.
We already started eating but the biggest and best wings I’ve had in the Treasure Valley area. Friendly staff and overall a good time!
It's a mix of a country bar and a rock and roll bar... Leaning toward country. Fun place to kill a night. Especially open mic nights on Tuesdays
Awesome little bar cheap drinks good vibes wish they had a restaurant or a food but a lady came in with tamales and sold them to us there so that's a bonus and they even made me like it more
Gary was awesome! Never been here before and always worry about trying a new bar but this dude rocked! Got a special drink and he nailed it. Coolest dude to have serve you. Will definitely be the bar for my girl and I!

I love this spot, strong drinks, still under $5 and pretty decent bar food! If we are in old nampa, we are definitely stopping in for a few drinks!
New Favorite bar ever!! Came here once a while back the bar tender named Gary was so nice and friendly made me want to come back,finally made it back tonight and Faydra was sooo awesome , so fun made this a place I can’t wait to come back to can’t wait to see Gary or faydra again!!!
